Francia was born in Guadalajara but has lived in San Diego all her life. For more than 20 years Francia as been doing makeup, hair and wigs and has been working in film for the last 10 years. Her resume includes working at the San Diego Opera, Local Youth Theaters and numerous films produced in San Diego, many of which have earned awards. Francia loves FX makeup and recently won a “Best SFX Makeup” award for her work on U Pack It, she is an eight time NYA nominee and was a judge on “Makeup Wars.”
Francia first joined Preposterous Film in 2011 with her work on “Letting Go” and since has worked on several other films with us and is now joining us again as Head of the Hair and Makeup Department.
